The Maverick valve is designed to be used in batteries in opportunity charge applications. Raised Vents provide additional room inside the cell for fluid expansion and a de-gassing chamber allows for the diluted dispersion of gasses to reduce the risk of ignition. A higher shut off means discharged batteries can be watered without the fear of over watering.
